In 2011, MakeMyVacation.com began in Oceanside, California. Every year, referrals from friends and realtors brought a few more homeowners to MakeMyVacation.com who were not satisfied with their own self-managing efforts or other management company’s results. We are a family-operated business and our office and warehouse are located in Oceanside, near the airport, less than 4 miles from the beach. Our staff is onsite at our properties 7 days a week to serve our guests and owners.
Randy & Mimi Bartkowiak
Randy and Mimi came to Oceanside from Michigan in 2016, with the intent to stay for a few months. They fell in love with the location and decided to make it permanent. Randy has a background in real estate sales and Mimi is an attorney who worked for the federal courts for almost two decades. They became co-owners of the company in 2019. Randy is Chief Operating Officer of MakeMyVacation.com and oversees guest relations and maintenance. Mimi fills the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Aaron & Ashley Olsen
Aaron and Ashley moved to Oceanside from Michigan in the Spring of 2016 to begin working at MakeMyVacation.com. They have 3 beautiful children. In the Fall of 2019, Aaron and Ashley became co-owners of the company. Aaron is the CEO of MakeMyVacation.com, providing leadership and overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day workings of our company. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan and was previously employed as manager of a large retail establishment. Ashley is the Chief Technology Officer.
