This is our 3rd year renting A23 for our children and grandchildren to enjoy Oceanside. We love this condo and its location along the strand with a great view of the Pacific Ocean and easy walks to the Oceanside Pier to the South and the Oceanside Harbor to the North as well as a short drive to our home near the municipal airport.

Our very first visit was based on my Mom's recommendation as she knew the owner, Steve, and he had recently remodeled the unit. It was in tip top condition. Steve has since passed away, may his soul rest in peace, and there is a new owner and 3 years since our initial rental.

This year there were a few things that we noticed. There is a new dining table, which worked well with the grand kids since it had a bench on one side. Some things that need attention include: The front screen door is difficult to lock and we like to keep that open to get a cross breeze. The slider screen door needs a good cleaning and lubricating of the track as it was difficult to close to keep the many pesky mosquitos out this year. We could not get the ice maker working and the refrigerator seemed to be struggling to keep things cold even with little access of opening the door. Maybe we missed how to engaged the ice maker or set the refrigerator to a lower temperature. Since my one year old grandson was doing a lot of crawling as well as walking, we noticed that the floor could use a good cleaning.

Again, we love supporting Steve's family by renting this condo and having a prime location for our family to enjoy their childhood home is a key factor in our decision. We hope to rent again next summer and that the items noted above can be addressed before our next visit.

Amazing Beachfront Rental

We rented A23 for a birthday/memorial weekend and it was incredible. Very clean and cozy. Just a few steps to the beach. And it was great for our kids who loved the pools and beach. Oceanside is so clean compared to other SoCal beach towns we have visited which was a very nice surprise. We felt very safe in this area. Lots of good food options too! We will definitely be renting here again this summer.

Beach front access

Our stay here was great! It’s so nice to have such beautiful beach and ocean views and be right where all the action is. Very convenient. My only con was that it would still be pretty busy or loud throughout the night. From people walking by or people hanging out by the beach bathrooms. Other than that we can’t complain.

The queen bed mattress was broken down .when two of you went to bed you rolled to to the middle.

Great view with quick access to the beach!

Great location to the beach, you can hear the waves from the condo (when the windows are open). But it can get loud as cars go down the Strand and people gather on the beach.

Cute little bungalow right on the beach

This is a great little 2 bed 2 bath bungalow. Very clean. The king bed in the master was good. But the double bed in the 2nd bedroom badly needs to be replaced at it was a very uncomfortable sleep for two thin adults. Pacific North Village is absolutely stunning! Be aware there is no AC and we were hot. Our only major complaint was we were not provided with enough bath towels for 3 nights for 6 people. We were only given one single roll of toilet paper in the master bath. Not even one spare roll was provided. The amenities of the location are unmatched. Location is central to everything. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and would stay again.

We rented this unit for a second time this year to host our children and grandchildren for a family gathering.

Mini vacation at the beach

We had a great time in Oceanside. The place was great and the weather was awesome... we enjoyed our time with the granddaughter...who was visiting from Pennsylvania.. she loves the ocean.
Overall we had a great time and the location of the place is perfect!
