OCEANSIDE MUSEUM OF ART
Your gateway to experience the Southern California art community through online and onsite OMA exhibitions and programming year-round. The museum houses art focused on works by contemporary artists of southern California. Works exhibited include paintings, sculptures, furniture, art quilts and fiber designs, and glass. The museum also hosts or sponsors classes, lectures, tours, concerts, films, events, and chartered travel to other cultural art exhibits. The museum typically features over a dozen modern and contemporary art exhibitions each year, including exhibits at other community locations.
disneyland
Disneyland Park is a great reason to come visit one of our oceanside beach vacation rentals. It is a short drive up the 5 freeway. It has fabulous rides and daily parades that the whole family can enjoy. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid ticket for the same park on the same date are required for guests ages 3 and older. It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. There are two parks to enjoy, the original Disneyland and California Adventure.
universal studios hollywood
Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. Just a few hours’ drive from Oceanside CA, and you’re there. Imagine waking up, preparing a delicious home cooked breakfast in your condo, and then heading out to Universal Studios.
legoland
Legoland California Resort is a theme park and aquarium located in Carlsbad, California, based on the Lego toy brand. Come play your part at LEGOLAND® California Resort, located just 20 minutes south of Oceanside. With more than 60 rides, shows and attractions, it’s an interactive, hands-on theme park experience for families with children ages 2 to 12.
seaworld
SeaWorld San Diego is an animal theme park, oceanarium, outside aquarium and marine mammal park, in San Diego, California. Experience thrilling coasters, led by Electric Eel, a multi-launch coaster with high-energy twists, electrifying loops and inversions. SeaWorld is also the destination for kid-friendly fun, with rides perfect for the whole family. Stroll through over 100 acres of beautiful park grounds filled with incredible animal exhibits including orcas, belugas, otters, walruses, sharks, sea turtles, bat rays, sea lions, pilot whales, penguins, dolphins, flamingos, eels, tropical birds and more.
San Diego Zoo and Safari Park
The world-famous San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park, San Diego. It houses over 15,000 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies on 100 acres. The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is an international, nonprofit conservation organization with two options: the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The Safari Park is an excellent option for families with small children and is only 28 miles from Oceanside.
