is located within walking distance of North Coast Village in the Oceanside Harbor. If you love Italian food, you’ll definitely want to try the pizza and the garlic knots!

is one of Oceanside’s newer restaurants. It’s located at 333 North Pacific Street, at the foot of the Oceanside Pier in the lobby of the Wyndham Resort. The food is excellent and they are open seasonally for lunch and nightly for dinner

Harbor Fish ‘N Chips
is a great place to get some — you guessed it! — delicious fish and chips. It also might not surprise you that it’s located in the Oceanside Harbor.

Swami’s Cafe
is located at 202 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside. It’s a small place, but it has great breakfasts and lunches, with all food being made to order. The lines on the weekends can be quite long.

is a casual farm-to-table restaurant that is open for dinner only. It has a bistro type of atmosphere, wonderful comfort food and great desserts. It is located at 626 S. Tremont Street in Oceanside.

Pacific Coast Grill
For special occasions, it is worth the drive down the coast to eat at Pacific Coast Grill in Cardiff. Their Cowboy Steak is amazing and they also offer many wonderful seafood dishes. The atmosphere can’t be beat!

For the best seasonal California Cuisine around, take a drive down to La Jolla to Seasons 52. Their lobster flatbread pizza is fantastic and they have the best Chilean Sea Bass we’ve had!

George’s At The Cove (La Jolla CA)
in La Jolla is another favorite. The building has three levels of dining. The rooftop/patio is excellent for families. The view of La Jolla Cove is stunning and the food is excellent. The second level is the bar, and the lower level is the fine dining – great ocean views and fabulous food. Be sure to try the chicken/black-bean/broccoli soup. You may need to ask about it if it’s not on the menu. The address is 1250 Prospect Street in La Jolla.

The Marine Room (La Jolla CA)
is also in La Jolla and is another excellent fine dining restaurant. It is truly an elegant ocean/beach front location with some tableside preparations and delicious food. The address is 2000 Spindrift Drive in La Jolla.
