Getting Around Oceanside CA
AIRPORT OPTIONS
There are three large airports within 100 miles of Oceanside. The closest is San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is 40 miles from Oceanside. John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana, which is in Orange County, is a 50-mile drive from Oceanside. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 90 miles away and the time it takes to get to and from LAX varies significantly depending upon the traffic.
DRIVING TO NORTH COAST VILLAGE on I-5 North from Los Angeles:
Exit the freeway (I-5) at Oceanside Harbor Drive [Exit 54 C] and head west to the “T” intersection (about 2 blocks west of the freeway). Turn left onto Harbor Drive South and follow about ½ block to the “Y” intersection and angle left – continuing on Harbor Drive South. Continue around the Harbor to the stop sign on top of the bridge and turn left at that stop sign. (There is no street sign at that intersection; however, it’s the beginning of North Pacific Street.) After turning left and going across the bridge, North Coast Village is immediately on the right/west side of the street. Continue to the NCV parking lot on the right/west side and just beyond the “pelican” sign in front of the complex.
DRIVING TO NORTH COAST VILLAGE on I-5 North from San Diego:
Exit the freeway (I-5) at Mission Avenue [Exit 53] and head west to the “T”/dead end, which is at the ocean. Turn right/north onto Pacific Street. Follow Pacific Street through multiple stop signs. Continue through the intersection of North Pacific Street and Breakwater Way. North Coast Village and the NCV parking lot will be immediately on the left/west side of the street.
